Being a dirtbag is a life style, a culture. A dirtbag is someone a little quirky, that has a strong passion for cycling and good fun.
The best part about being a dirtbag is great exercise, healthy competition and good friends.
What is the Village Dirtbags all about?
The goal is to be good ambassadors to cycling and to preserve and protect the environment where we live and play from destruction and closure.
Our mission is to promote mountain biking that is environmentally sound and socially responsible.
Is this a mountain or road bike club?
It is a mountain bike club. However, the dirtbags are involved in all types of cycling and other outdoor activities.
How do I become a dirtbag?
Contact us and arrange to join us for a ride. If you like to beer, knowing the difference between good and bad beer is helpful, but we will work with you.
You need to be an experienced mountain bike rider for most rides.
Do the dirtbags race?
Yes, some of the members race as part of the club. We have members that are Pros, Experts, Cat 1, Cat 2 and Cat 3 racers.
Where are you located?
The Village Dirtbags are located on the California Central Coast. There are affiliated clubs and individuals located through out the country.
Where do you ride?
All over the Central Coast, and through out the Western States.
